Monson Savings Bank recently announced the hire of Kelly Connelly as Vice President Director of Residential Lending.

Kelly Connelly resides with her family in Gardner, MA. In her role as Vice President Director of Residential Lending, Connelly will be responsible for managing the Residential & Consumer Lending Department. Connelly will implement strategies that are centered on operational excellence, product development, and market expansion. She will leverage technology and a high-touch service model to ensure all customers have an exceptional lending experience. Additionally, as Vice President Director of Residential Lending, Connelly will offer her expertise to Monson Savings Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act & Fair Lending, Strategic Planning, Compliance, IT Steering, Audit, and Asset-Liability Committees.

Connelly comes to Monson Savings Bank with 15 years of experience in banking. Her focus on lending began a decade ago at Hingham Institutions for Savings where she worked as Vice President of Loan Operations. While at Hingham Institutions for Savings, Connelly drove a loan operations strategy that aided in the bank being rated the most efficient bank in the country in 2021. In 2022, Connelly was named one of the Top 40 under 40 National Mortgage Professionals. Prior to joining Monson Savings Bank, Connelly worked as Eastern Bank’s Assistant Vice President Loan Servicing Operations Manager II.

In addition to her vast banking and lending experience, Connelly brings her educational accomplishments to Monson Savings Bank. Connelly earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2016 from New England College of Business, where she studied Finance and Banking. Connelly also holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, concentrating her studies in banking.

Like Monson Savings Bank, Connelly values giving back to the local communities. She stays connected to the community through her involvement with the Worcester Women for Good, North Central Mass Chamber of Commerce, and Suffolk Law Alumni Group.

In the last several years, MSB has continued to grow and expand that impact at remarkable levels.
