Monson Savings Bank Announces the Promotion of Jamie R. Blaxland to Finance Operations Officer

Monson Savings Bank recently announced the promotion of Jamie R. Blaxland to Finance Operations Officer.

“Jamie has showed us time and time again that she is valuable resource to our team,” said Monson Savings Bank President and CEO Dan Moriarty. “We are thankful for her devotion to the team and her diligence. Jamie has contributed to the overall success of Monson Savings Bank for more than 20 years and we know she will continue to help us be successful.”

In her role as Finance Operations Officer, Blaxland is primarily responsible for managing the Accounting Department which oversees the Bank’s accounts payable, Automated Clearing House (ACH), investment bookkeeping, wires, general ledger reconciliations, and more.

Blaxland has been a member of the Monson Savings Bank team for 22 years. Prior to this recent promotion, she served as the Bank’s Accounting Manager. She has worked in the Bank’s Accounting Department for 19 years and has 26 years of experience working in the banking industry. Blaxland holds several ACH certifications and is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).

Like Monson Savings Bank, Blaxland has a strong appreciation for the local communities. As a longtime Monson resident and a former employee of the Monson Public Schools, she feels a deep connection to the town where the Bank was founded more than 150 years ago. Additionally, Blaxland serves the local community as an active member in her church.

“22 years ago, when I began my Monson Savings Bank journey as a teller at our Monson Branch, I realized I had become part of an extraordinary team of like-minded individuals," said Blaxland. "I am incredibly grateful to still be a member of this team today. Looking ahead, I am excited to continue my professional growth, support my colleagues in their development, and serve our communities."
