Monson Savings Bank Celebrates at 150th Anniversary Gala
For Monson Savings Bank, 2022 has been a year filled with momentous celebrations surrounding the Bank’s 150th Anniversary as a local, community Bank. The grandest celebratory event took place Saturday, October 1st at the Monson Savings Bank 150th Anniversary Gala.
“Reaching 150 years is a huge accomplishment that all of us at Monson Savings Bank are very proud of,” said Dan Moriarty, President & CEO. “This event was planned to celebrate and thank our team members for continuing the legacy of being a successful 150-year-old community Bank.”
It was a night to remember for attendees that included Bank employees, board members, and guests. The event was black tie formal with guests donning their classiest dresses and tuxedos. Monson Memorial Hall, a historic landmark located in the town that the Bank was incorporated in 1872, was decorated to the nines for the special occasion, including outdoor skylights, a red-carpet entrance, special interior lighting, and a larger-than-life Monson Savings Bank cake on the stage of the venue.
Photographers from Robert Charles Photography were on-site to capture moments from the occasion, while Main Street Tavern served dinner, drinks, and dessert. A local jazz trio from Falcetti Music played music during the cocktail hour and DJ Bobby Roast Beef kept the upbeat music playing and guests dancing throughout the evening.
