Monson Savings Bank Announces the Promotion of Carolyn P. Balicki to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer

Monson Savings Bank is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Carolyn P. Balicki to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer. She currently serves as the Bank’s Wilbraham Branch Manager and will continue to do so. Balicki is based out of the Wilbraham Branch, which is located at 100 Post Office Park.

Carolyn P. Balicki is a lifelong resident of Wilbraham. She resides with her husband and their two sons. Balicki is deeply involved with the local communities and enjoys giving back to them in any way that she can. She currently serves on the YMCA of Greater Springfield Advisory Board and is a member of the Wilbraham-Hampden Academic Trust Board.

Balicki began her career in banking with Monson Savings Bank 14 years ago. She joined the local, community Bank as a Customer Service Associate (CSA), quickly realizing her passion for finance and banking while in this role. Balicki then subsequently earned positions as CSA Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager, and Branch Manager. Prior to her most recent promotion, Balicki served as Wilbraham Branch Manager and Retail Banking Officer.

In her new role as Assistant Vice President Retail Banking Officer, Balicki will be responsible for assisting all five of the Bank’s branches with various training programs and overseeing CSA Supervisors. She will also be a resource for the entire Retail Team. Additionally, Balicki will continue to maintain her responsibilities as the Wilbraham Branch Manager. As a Branch Manager, Balicki helps customers reach their financial goals, performs banking transactions, and oversees the Branch’s daily operations.

Throughout her tenure with Monson Savings, Balicki has gone the extra mile to contribute to the overall success of the Bank. Her biggest accomplishment has been contributing to the growth of the Wilbraham Branch from $40 million to $140 million in deposits. Furthermore, she is a respected leader amongst her colleagues and is committed to empowering them to prosper. Balicki has trained many members of the Monson Savings Team, helping them to thrive in their positions and develop their professional skillset. She also serves as a mentor to Bank employees in the Bank’s Mentorship Program.

Balicki’s educational accomplishments further enhance her ability to be effective as a Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President Retail Banking Officer. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at University of Massachusetts Amherst. Balicki is also a graduate of the New England School of Financial Studies and is certified in Branch Management by the Massachusetts Bankers Association.
