Here is what Wil had to share about his life and experiences.
I am a banker, a Christian and a Dad.
What is your role at Monson Savings Bank and how do you help your customers?
I am the Branch Manager of the Monson Branch location. I assist my customers with their financial needs and help them to make progress towards their financial goals.
What do you like most about your position?
I like helping people and building relationships with customers and community members.
How long have you been with Monson Savings Bank?
I have been with Monson Savings for 4 years and two months.
What are the top things you love about MSB?
I love that I am allowed to help customers using my knowledge and experience and that I am not limited in how much I can do for the customers. I also love the way Monson Savings Bank treats their employees and customers.
How do you feel connected to the local communities?
I feel like family with my local community. They involve and invite me to all local activities and make me feel welcomed. Monson is a great community to be a part of.
How do you feel at the end of the day after helping customers?
At the end of the day I feel like I did my part as a Christian to help people, to be a part of making their day fulfilled, by helping them to accomplish what they wanted.
What are your roots?
I was born and raised in North End Springfield, MA and now I reside in Ludlow, MA.
Tell us about your family or friends and what they mean to you.
My family and friends are a group that accept me for who I was, who I am and hopefully who I will grow to become. They mean the world to me. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for them and nothing they wouldn’t do for me.
What values are most important to you to uphold?
The values that are most important to me is loyalty, honesty and dedication.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy playing sports, chess, dominos, going to the movies and spending time with family and friends.
Favorite music?
I listen to Christian music and rap music.
Favorite meal?
Tenderloin steak with fried plantains.
Can you play any instruments?
I used to play the piano but I no longer remember how to play.
Do you volunteer anywhere?
I volunteer at my church, Lifepoint Church in Chicopee, MA. I currently usher and help at the nursery when open.
