Here is what Rob had to share about his life and experiences.
I am a banker, a husband, a proud dad, an avid golfer and a musician.
What is your role at Monson Savings Bank and how do you help your customers?
As Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer, I am responsible for leading the Monson Savings commercial lending team as we continue to help local businesses of all sizes reach their goals with Monson Savings Bank’s commercial lending solutions.
What do you like most about your position?
Being able to make a real difference in our local community brings me an unbelievable amount of satisfaction. I love helping my commercial customers grow their businesses and continue to thrive. I love my job!
How long have you been with Monson Savings Bank?
I have been with Monson Savings for 10 years.
What do you like about Monson Savings Bank?
1. Our Team: I have the pleasure of working with a dynamic team that goes the extra mile to help our customers. We are humble, honest, and take care of each other like family. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and even though we have a lot of fun every day, we get the job done!
2. My Customers: I have great customers! I make it a point to do business with good people who have integrity. I care about my borrowers, their businesses, and their families and I make myself available to them always.
What are your roots?
I was born and raised in South Hadley Massachusetts. I currently reside in Agawam MA.
Tell us about your family or friends and what they mean to you.
I may be a Banker, but I am a husband and a dad FIRST. My family means everything to me. I love my wife and my two boys more than anything I can imagine. I could not do this job without the support of my wife. She is the most caring and understanding person I’ve ever met. She is an unbelievable mom to our boys and she makes me a better dad. I’m blessed to have her by my side as we watch our boys grow up.
What values are most important to you to uphold?
Honesty, Respect, Patience, Responsibility and Empathy
What are your hobbies?
I love to coach and play sports with my boys, I am an avid golfer, I am a drummer, and I love to cook.
Favorite music?
The Dave Matthews Band has been my favorite band for decades. I was inspired years ago by their drummer Carter Beauford who influenced my drumming style.
Favorite meal?
Grilled ribeye with a red wine sauce over polenta with roasted brussel sprouts.

Do you volunteer anywhere?
I was honored to serve on the Board of Directors at Hawthorn Services from 2006 to 2010, serving as President and Chair from 2008 to 2010.
I also had the pleasure of serving on the Board of Directors for the Center for Human Development (CHD) from 2010 to 2020.
I have coached baseball in Agawam for four years and love it!
