If you don’t know already, we have amazing employees at Monson Savings Bank and we want you to get to know them. The MSB Employee Spotlight is an ongoing series highlighting the achievements, hard work, fun details and individual traits that make Monson Savings Bank employees so great!

Here is what Ashley had to share about her life and experiences.

I am a banker. I am an optimist, a volunteer, an artist, a shopping fanatic.

What is your role at Monson Savings Bank and how do you help your customers?

I am the Assistant Branch Manager at the new East Longmeadow Branch at 61 North Main Street. I help to oversee the awesome team at the East Longmeadow branch and assist our customers by helping them with their financial needs.

What do you like most about your position?

What I like most about my position is the face to face customer interaction. I like being able to help our customers with every financial need, whether it is helping them to open an account, answer questions about a product, or help them with their digital banking services. I like listening to what their goals are and figuring out how we can best help them to reach those goals.

How long have you been with Monson Savings Bank?

I have been with Monson Savings for a little over three years.

What do you like about Monson Savings Bank?

I love Monson Savings Bank’s dedication to providing great customer service. I always hear how much customers love Monson Savings Bank and often it is because of our great customer service and personalized attention we provide. We also have an amazing team here at the East Longmeadow Branch and it makes coming to work that much more fun. As a team, our branch is very strong and it makes working here all that much more exciting.

How do you feel connected to the local communities?

Monson Savings Bank is always ready to volunteer at local community events, and we continue to show we are committed to helping local food pantries, town festivals, free shred days, and so many others. I am always happy to help volunteer and actually get out into the community and get to know our local customers, and neighbors of Monson Savings Bank.

How do you feel at the end of the day after helping customers?

After helping customers I go home feeling very satisfied knowing that I was able to do everything possible to assist our customers. My position as an Assistant Branch manager is very rewarding because I get to help customers face to face on a daily basis.

What are your roots?

I am from Springfield, MA.

Tell us about your family or friends and what they mean to you.

I am a big family and friend oriented person. I spend a lot of my free time with either my friends or family. You can never spend too much time with the people you love and you definitely need to take advantage of the time you do have!

What values are most important to you to uphold?

The most important values for me to uphold are consistency, loyalty, reliability, and for sure open-mindedness.

What are your hobbies?

I like to occasionally go hiking, and I love art. I do a lot with ceramics and painting.

Favorite music?

I love any and all music, I am not a picky person! I do love modern day music the most.

Favorite meal?

I love Italian food! If I had to choose a favorite it would be Chicken Alfredo.

Do you volunteer anywhere?

My past volunteer events have been the peach blossom festival, summer series concert, walk of champions, shred events for multiple branches, the local Pancake Dinner, Ware Mobile food Pantry, Ware Spring Shop Hop, and many more! I love how involved I get to be with the community at Monson Savings Bank.
